However, we should forget vitamin E and fiber in fiber-rich whole grain. (Rice is not a fiber rich whole grain - barley, rye, wheat, etc are good)
3) Please note that minerals offer no energy value whatsoever.
Minerals are critical for biological processes that metabolize macronutrients, but only carbohydrate (e.g. sugars, starches), fat, and protein can give energy. NOTHING ELSE!
