Pittacus Lore's first book is called "I Am Number Four." This book is about a fifteen-year-old alien boy who calls himself John Smith. He is the fourth in line to die at the hands of a hostile alien race called the Mogadorians, along with the six others after him. John and his Cêpan, "Henri," come from the planet Lorien, a planet much like Earth, to hide from the Mogadorians. They must move when anything happens that is out of place, changing their identities at every new town. This is a great book and should be read by everyone.

Even though I haven't read The Power of Six yet I would say that it is the power of the remaining six loric garde who are destined to defeat the mogadorians and return to their planet, Lorien.
The third book in the Lorien Legacies series is "The Rise of Nine" by Pittacus Lore. It continues the story of the Garde as they battle the Mogadorians and search for the remaining members of the Lorien Nine.
