That is one very big fat and certain YES! I had 2 baby pigeons on my balcony that were around 10 days old. In the morning I checked them and they were fine and in the afternoon I looked out and was deeply saddened. The babies were attacked and they got it bad. I hope to God I never see something like that again. It could have been a crow or an owl. Maybe other pigeons because they are territorial. Some species, with an alpha animal willl kill other's offspring to ensure that their "seed" survives.
If its high then yes they could. It depends on how they land, if you have one check for injuries

Baby birds mostly fledge or leave the nest in mid/late Summer.
You can remove your love birds nest when the baby birds have moved away from the nest and have learned to fly. Make sure you use gloves to avoid touching bacteria that may have accumulated on the nest.
