A panda will eat almost any plants that their instincts don't think are bad. Despite the fact that Giant Panda's are actually classified as carnivores, their diet mainly consists of bamboo. They will eat fish, eggs, and other meat if it is available.
Pandas are not known to be cannibalistic and just about never eat other pandas.
They eat bamboo, shoots, and leaves.
They have been known to eat other plants,fish,pika and other small rodents

Giant pandas will also eat eggs, fish, honey, fruit if it's available and more. Red pandas will eat small mammals, birds, eggs, and insects. The main diet of both the Red and Giant pandas is bamboo though.

The giant panda mostly eats stem and leaves of bamboo. They also eat flowers, fungi, grass, berries, bark, insects and also bird eggs.
Giant pandas eat nothing but bamboo!

However, the Red panda eats berries, small birds, leaves and nuts.

other than grass and bamboo, giant pandas eat meat when it's available, vines, roots, and in the spring time, flowers. they're also fond of honey.

While primarily herbivorous, the giant panda still retains decidedly ursine teeth, and will eat meat, fish, and eggs when available. However, 99% of their diet is bamboo.
