A lovebird breeder told me that because peachface lovebirds and Fischer lovebirds are different species of lovebird, mating a peachface lovebird to a Fischer lovebird will produce infertile babies.

∙ 12y agoA lovebird's beak looks like a curve on top and the bottom part of the beak is smaller than the top also when it's mouth is closed the bottom is like inside the top part.

Peachfaced lovebirds are larger and more aggressive. They play harder too. It would not be good to house masked and peachfaced together. Outside of their cages, play should be supervised.
