Although the way clothes look on you and whether they are currently in style matters a lot, the big things to me that make a difference are:
1. Pockets--I need pockets in every dress, skirt, or pants
2. Quality--good fabric that is well cut and put together so that when I wash the item it comes out looking nice, and preferably won't need to be ironed.
3. Neckline--flattering without being so low that I have to consciously check out where the girls are at the moment I lean over
Because most people do. as iv seen in the past women like to look good (different) and they like to look good! just like men really.
It depends who you buying it off or what shop you buying it from. If you know people who sell designer clothes for less then they sell them for £20 and there real one's. Mostly people are either jealous of others clothes, or they think their clothes look stupid.
The catalogs are decreasing because of the current economy. There are not enough people buying name brand clothes and they can not afford to keep paying to publish catalogs when people are not buying.
After being made they go to a wholesaler who then distributes them in either bulk buying (buying lots and lots for chainstores like New Look) or in smaller quantities for the individual store.

A quick look around should show you that most people wear clothes most of the time.
they wear clothes that cover all of their bodies. the clothes have to make them look respectful and honorable.
People wont to look nice ... clothes are a statues symbol and the more fashionable you are people tend to believe the more money you have ...
It just depends what you are buying i mean if your buying clothes then yes
