Humans and pigs have almost the exact same digestive systems and circulatory/respiratory systems. This can be seen when opening up a dead fetal pig. Pigs are monogastrics and naturally omnivores, just like humans are, and when pigs are out of the barn and not on a grain diet and allowed to feed themselves (like many feral pigs do), their diets are just as varied in animal proteins and plant matter just like we are.
