Oh, the answer above is absolutely false. A cat will play with a mouse. Wild animals have been known to play both with objects and with other animals. Wolf and coyote pups play with each other.
I am not sure what porcupines do for entertainment. I have seen them waddling down my road many times, and they have killed a few of my trees by stripping the bark off around them. It is possible they may climb trees just for entertainment sometimes.
