Rainbow lorikeets build their nests from sawdust, they do this inside a hollow log in which they lay 2-3, nearlly, perfectly round, white eggs. The eggs take around 25 days to hatch. The parents will then take it in turns to feed them. The babies will usually fledge between 6-8 weeks of age.
