Different rats act in different ways. The Bucks (or males) act in a calmer way. This is unless the males hormone levels increase. The Buck will start too become aggressive and mean. Does (females) are more active. They would want to shoulder surf and not lay in your lap and sleep, like the males. The males also drop a few drops of urine to mark their territory.
