Scientists cannot predict when or how the world will end, although they will agree that it will end eventually. Perhaps the most likely means by which the world as we know it may be destroyed would be the collision of a comet with the Earth. Various other calamities are possible including extreme global warming. If all else fails we are expecting the sun to expand into a red giant in about 3 billion years from now, which would destroy the world very thoroughly.
some scientist are atheist and obvioulsy do not believe that god created the world, so they believe that the world started when particles came together and wiola! the earth came to be...
Why scientists believe a liquid water ocean might exist on the moon Titan
Why do scientists believe there might be water on the Moon?
Many scientists believe that our world will be engulfed by the Sun when it becomes a red giant- in about 5 billion years from now, 2016 CE. Be elsewhere, if possible! As for the rest of the universe, many scientists will not even speculate about it's ultimate fate, as there are so many competing hypotheses regarding it's origins. There are those who believe that many other universes exist in what they currently describe as a multiverse. Only time will tell.
Most scientist probably believe that the Big Bang created the universe and eventually the Earth. However most also believe there was some time of intelligence that guided it, as the odds against it happening as pure chance are astronomical.
because scientists have reaserched and they say it will end in 2012
I don't think scientists have proof and I don't think scientists believe the world will end in 2012. 2012 if the end of the Mayan 5000 year calander.
yes the world will end but not formillions of years even though scientists think it will end soon but believe what you want to.
dummies do dummy Scientists might, and anybody that saw the movie. Obviously the Mayans did.
Scientists believe that the Mayans from 2012 A.D. predicted that the world will end in 2012 present which is now. The date it is suppose to end proven by scientists is August 13, 2012 at 11:13 am.
Probably not. Some scientists believe that but the ones that do are stupid. The mayan calendar supposedly stops there but i just believe they ran out of room :)
I think the majority of the scientific community believe the world will not end in 2012. The possiblity of a meteor is everpresent of course, but there is no way to put a time limit on it.
There are scientists that believe in a god and there are scientists that don't. Surveys find that a large majority of scientists do not believe in a god and even fewer believe in a creation account of the world.
Some scientists believe that the world will keep crashing in on it's self and over a period of time a new world will then form and this will happen again and again, But if the world did end it would be in a long time, some people thought about 2 years ago it would be the end of the world when the scientists tested that tunnel i think it was but nothing happened
no :)
Maybe. No one really knows. Some think the world is going to end in 2012 on December 21. Many scientists, however, believe Earth still has billions of years.
Scientifically, there is no evidence that the world will end in 2012.
