Yes, to access the tappets(lifters) you have to remove the cylinder head.
No, Shakira does not sound like a goat.
They sound like church bells
it sound like a floote. its a long instrument
like a guitar sound!!!
Normally loose tappets will cause a ticking sound in the engine. Depending on if you have mechanical or hydraulic tappets you may need to have them replaced or simply adjusted.
The loud tapping sound can be caused by a complete heating of the engine. Worn tappets can also cause the tapping sound.
Plutckg
yes you do have to set the tappets
it rattles really load like the sound of worn tappets but bit louder easiest way to check is to remove rocker cover and look at the cam it will be very obvious if it is worn
The tappets may need adjustment or replacement, due to wear.
Is it a big problem to have noisy tappets in your engine?
adjust tappets on saxo 1.1 and gaps
Worn bearings, loose rotor, warped brake rotor, sticking brakes.
Actually "tappets" is a term that has not been used for a l;tong time. Yu are probably referring to the valves or lifters. If you are having a tapping sound coming from the top of your engine, the rockers probably have to be adjusted or there may be a problem with lifters or pushrods.
no unless you change the size of the rods
Hi. If the brakes are sticking on it won't be the servo thats at fault it's sound more like the calipers need cleaning.
