They probably feel special because they are contacting the Guru Nanak. They will feel they have to be quiet to get the best connection. Also they always pray on their knees because that shows they are less important than who they are praying to.Hope I helped :)

Try telling him how you feel about visiting him. Whatever your reason is, everybody needs time for themselves and people should respect that. On the other hand, if he's feeling uninterested because you're not committing your part on visiting him (enough or at all), he does have a reason of getting mad at you.
