thay are both thick cells :)
the blood surround Alveoli in order to gas exchange between the Alveoli and red blood cell.
The tiny blood vessels that surround the alveoli arecalled alveolar capillaries

Alveoli
Alveoli
The capillaries carry the blood around the alveoli.
they are both one cell thick to let the gases diffuse
The alveoli are the sites of respiration: the oxygen in them provided by the inhaled air diffuses into the blood cells that flow through the capillaries. Carbon dioxide diffuses out of the blood and into the alveoli so it can be exhaled. The capillaries provide a way for the blood to reach the alveoli. Hope this helps
These are called the alveoli capillaries.
It diffuses into the blood capillaries surrounding the alveoli.
capillaries
The alveoli and capillaries in the lungs pass oxygen to the blood. Both have very thin walls, which allow the oxygen to pass from the alveoli to the blood. The capillaries then connect to larger blood vessels, called veins, which bring the oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.
