Supossedly, "Thrones" are angels are assigned to stand around God at his throne and sing His praises ever and eternally.

What is angelology?
It appears to believe itself to be the study of angels. However, given that evidence for angels is thin on the ground it is hard to know what the study consists of. Few angels are mentioned in the Bible, and there are scant details given of those that are. In the educational firmament, I doubt angelology is up there with the rest of the "~ologies".
