What do you mean? It is a DSLR camera, not a lens.
DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. This is a type of camera, it has interchangeable lenses, and usually yields better quality than Point and shoot cameras.
If you mean the DSLR camera its Sony.
the F numbers usually refer to the aperture of the lens which controls how much light can enter the camera. it also affects the depth of field.
It probably refers to an SLR style camera which can be purchased without a Lens as the lens are interchangeable.
Field Camera I am not entirely sure what you mean by portable, most cameras are to a certain extent portable. However if you are looking for a camera that you can use different lenses and attachments with you would have to go with a DSLR of some sort. I use an Olympus E410 which uses EOS lenses. It is a perfect camera for my needs but you would have to determine which make and model works for you. Just remember, no camera that gives you the ability to change lens is going to fit into a pocket.
The setting which dictates the amount of light that enters the lens. f-stop...f-1.4
Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor . it is the the sensor on DSLR cameras. In lay man terms its the film in the digital camera.
The question likely pertains to 55mm as a lens focal length, and does not relate to any type of camera. Another use for numbers like 55mm in connection with a lens is to designate the thread size of the filters and lens caps that lenses require. For the interchangeable lenses used on 35mm SLR cameras, those sizes commonly run from 49mm to 72mm. Cameras are designated by film size or by type. Some common camera designations are 35mm; SLR; rangefinder; digital; point-and-shoot; medium format; view camera; press camera (various types); TLR twin lens reflex) -- there are others. If there is a "55mm"camera, I haven't encountered it.
different companies' cameras take different cards. for example, Olympus cameras have their own types. by digital camera, do you mean compact camera, as dslrs are digital, hence the "d" at the beginning.
I think you mean "SLR". It stands for Single Lens Reflex.
the lens zooms from 18 toi 55 milimetres.
