There are basicly 12 districts to compete. Prem (Katniss sister) has gotten chosen but doesnt want to compete in the Games. So, katniss everdeen takes Prem, her sister, spot. They go to the games and they compete for food and they kill each other and get hurt and violence and suff. Alot of people die, also. So Katniss and her other partner from district 12, Peeta, have to try and win the games for their district. But they fall in love in the end.
