i can tell you this.... there is no reall meaning to the 25 stars on the flag for the NFL.
Actually there is no significant meaning to the 25 stars on the current NFL logo (1980-2007). However with the change to the logo due in 2008, the new logo will have 8 stars representing the eight AFC and NFC divisions. You can read more about the logo change at http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2007-08-30-shield-change_N.htm

Unfortunately, it is not known as to why Paramount Pictures lost two stars on their logo. Currently, however, it is said that they have 22 stars on their Logo.

Interesting question, with quite a shocking answer. The three stars represent the highest rating that the US international team can possibly hope for on any future FIFA console game. The stripes represent nothing, they are just there because the logo designer was unimaginative and couldn't be arsed to stray far from the stars and stripes of the American flag. And the snake, I find most bemusing of all. Apparently, the snake represents both the prestidigitation and the insecurity of the US as a nation.
the stars on the American flag represent the states.
The stars represent the states.
the eagle represents italy<3, the stars represent how many times they have won the league, and the Latin writing says pride in battle
The 50 stars represent the 50 states of the US. The original 13 stars were meant to symbolize the newly-free 13 colonies as stars in a constellation in their common sky (a field of blue).
