Why do viruses make us sick?

A virus will make us sick because it disrupts the function of the cells or actually kills cells. Viruses uses healthy cells in order to replicate.

Why aren't viruses classified into a kingdom?

Because viruses are neither plant nor animals. Actually these objects do not have their own complete body. Their activities are best seen in the host living cell.

What is true viruses?

Viruses are cellular parasites.

How did computer virus originate?

There are different types of viruses. Some of the prominent ones are Trojan horses , worms, and email viruses. The Trojan horses are computer programs which pretend to do one thing but actually do damage when they start it. The worms viruses are pieces of software that use computer networks and security flaws to create copies of itself. A cop y of the worm will then scan the network for any other machine that has a specific security flaw, and then replicate itself to the new machine. With regards to email viruses, these use email messages, and usually will copy and automatically mail itself to hundreds of people. There are two generalities of viruses, including resident and nonresident viruses. Resident viruses are those viruses that contain a specific replication module which is alarmingly similar to t hose employed by nonresident viruses. A resident virus is one that stays in memory after it executes, and even after its host program is executed. Resident viruses are often subdivided into categories like fast infectors, and slow infectors. Fast infectors are those particular viruses which are designed to affect as many files as possible and slow infectors are designed to infect hosts infrequently. For instance some slow infectors will only infect files when they are copied. Nonresident viruses on the other hand are those viru ses which consist of a finder module and a replication module. The finder module is responsible for finding new files to infect, while the replication module is the component that actually infects the found files

Who has a virus Roblox or Facebook?

No, Neither Roblox of Facebook have viruses. People on Facebook do sometimes post links to viruses, and there are scams that exist on Facebook, but there are no viruses on Facebook itself. Roblox does not have viruses either. It does have virus scripts within the game, but those cannot actually harm your computer.

Why do people create virus?

Not sure if you mean to question the virus in biology or in computer software, however I shall answer both questions. In biology viruses are actually used to combat new diseases and create cures. The can actually be used also for technology where a virus was actually used in a battery for-to power a device similar to a computer. In computer software, sometimes people create viruses as almost a hobby. They are they hackers, the thieves, or whatever you want to call them, of the CyberWorld. Viruses can be used to steal information and identities. Viruses have actually been used also to download illegally. The unknown side of viruses is that a good portion of them are actually created accidently. These are most common as boot-sector viruses. However, then can entail other forms as well. Usually they pop up when there are compatibility issues and the computer crashes. - So to answer, sometimes people create viruses for illegal purposes or sometimes they are created by accident.

Where would viruses most likely grow?

Viruses can only live in living organisms (viruses themselves are not actually living). They might infect cells in our body, such as throat cells (infection of throat cells causes sore throat).

Why can't antibiotics be used against viruses?

Because viruses are not bacteria. Antibiotics only work on bacteria. (Viruses are not actually alive . . . they enter a bacterium and take control of its function.)

How the defensive viruses grow?

Defensive or drug resistant viruses grow by mutation. Viruses are exposed to many cellular factors during the replication of viruses, some of the factors can do actually mutate the viral genomes. Viruses take advantage of these factors to form as a genetically modified (new) virus that may not be cured by a particular drug since the virus has evolved to escape from the effect caused by the drug!

Does a virus actually get into the DNA of a cell?

Viruses combine their genetic material with that of the host cell they have invaded. See the related question below about how viruses reproduce for more information and many related questions.
