This list would go on forever, so here is the condensed version.

The magnetic compass, the low-hulled, sharp-keeled ship, the comb, about a third of the English language, pizza, (yes pizza.) England as we know it, (William the Conqueror was the grandson of a Viking.) Russia, (Kievan Rus' were originally Swedish Vikings.) The fall of rome, (Alaric was from Gotland, Sweden.) Advanced metal working techniques, the discovery of Amercia, (Lief Erikson landed in America in aprox. 1003.) Women's rights, (Viking women had just about the same rights a women do today.) The Germanic people, (The Germanic people migrated from Denmark, whose inhabitants migrated from Norway.) So if you have German blood in you, you owe them your existence, as do I.

We owe Vikings for their cultural and historical contributions, such as their advancements in shipbuilding, exploration, and trade. Their seafaring skills and exploration efforts greatly influenced the world we know today. Additionally, their mythology, art, and storytelling traditions have had a lasting impact on literature and popular culture.
