Western religions are those initiated in Europe and the western portion of the middle east. Christianity and Judaism are 'the' western religions, although certain minor religions (Druids, Norse myth) are western religions. Western religions do not include the indigenous religions of the western hemisphere. Islam is generally not considered a western religion, although being an Abrahamic religion, is considered western by some.
"Anglican" religions would be a religion from England. the Anglican Church, though, is the national church of England.
