well you have to depened on the type of fish. but mostly they all eat plants and the bigger fish eat smaller fish.:-)

Water strider are important to the wetlands because other animals rely on them for food. Fish and small animals eat them which makes them part of the food chain.
They can eat nectar and sap but that will not really be found in the wetlands
