What do yellowhead's eat?

Opistognathus aurifrons (yellowheaded or pearly jawfish) has a zooplanktivorous diet in the wild. Stomach content analysis has mostly shown copepods (~85%), with smaller amounts of shrimp larvae, fish eggs, and the like.

In the captive environment they can be feed any number of frozen foods, and some specimens may accept pelletized food formulas.
