What do you believe about Christianitys claim that only people who believe in Jesus Christ will go to heaven and please explain a little?

Our belief on the subject is based upon our conviction of the authority of the one who spoke these words to us. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and was sent to mankind as teacher and to offer His life as the only acceptable sacrifice for the sin of mankind. For anyone to have eternal life and be reunited with God his Father they must accept his Sacrifice made by means of Crucifixion on the cross as payment for their sin. All who refuse or fail to do so have no hope or claim to eternal life come. We believe that all may come but there is only one plan given to man by God wherein all can come.
The following are some of the words spoken by Jesus Christ that convince us that this is true:
John14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 3: 17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
34] For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: 36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

I believe that no matter what science says there is a God and a heaven which is where those worthy will be received when they die. Although science can explain numerous things there are those things that science cant explain.
