A genius, in a statistical sense, is anyone with an I.Q. over 132. In a general sense, it is anyone who is exceptional at doing what they do, so an excellent dog groomer could be called a genius. In my personal opinion, a genius is any person who is intellectually superior to the general population. (It is offensive and pigheaded to call geniuses freaky.)
