I'm doubtful that lynxes can be found in groups in the wild. However, I know that a group of wild cats is called a destruction. This may not be true of lynxes, but it's my best guess.
A group of lynx is called a chain. A group of sheep is called a flock, a colony is the name for a group of ants, and a group of geese is known as a gaggle.
