plasmolysis
A plant cell has a cell wall outlining the outside of the cell so when the plant cell absorbs the water, the cell wall keeps the cell intact and from bursting but since the animal cell lacks a cell wall, the water easily builds up and then bursts. I hope this helped!
The plant cell, due to its totipotency, is more durable than an animal cell.
After it bursts, it will fall onto the tissue and eventually turn into tissue.
It is the same as animal cell division, mitosis followed by cytokinesis.
in a plant cell - cell wall in an animal cell - plasma membrane or cell membrane
they both have nuclues
Animal cells lack rigid cell wall. When an animal cell is placed in a solution with high water potential, the wanter enters the cell as cell membrane is freely permeable to water. As a result of continuously increasing water potential inside the cell, Cell membrane bursts and the cell is said to be lysed.
Plant cells are commonly called chloroplasts, derived from the chlorophyll inside the cell. Animal cells don't have that chlorophyll, so they are not called chloroplasts.
they both have organelles and call membranes and a nucleus
