All solutions that contain ions are good conductors of electricity, such as: acids, bases, salt water. Dschennai
Good conductors contain many free electrons.
Rubber is what is known as an electrical insulator. The difference between insulators, which block the flow of electricity, and conductors, which permit the flow of electricity, lies in the availability of mobile electrons in the material in question. Electricity is composed of moving electrons. Some materials, such as metals, contain electrons that are easily moved, hence electric currents move easily in those materials. If a material does not have electrons that are easily moved, then it resists the flow of electrons.
A solution must contain ions, to be able to conduct electricity.
Metals contain metalic bonds which have free electrons unlike ionic or covalent bonds. As those electrons could flow freely along the metal structure, metals can conduct electricity.
True. Metals are good conductors of electricity because they have a high density of free electrons that can move easily in response to an electric field, allowing the flow of electric current.
if you know chemical bonding it is easier to understand but any substance that doestn contain charge carriers is a poor conductor of electricity i.e. a substance that doenst contain free moving electrons or ions to propagate the current

Conductors and insulators are different and simalar in many ways. Two ways they are simallar are they both have electrons and have something to do with electricity.Three ways they are different that conductors let heat and electricity go through it .On the other hand insulators do not let heat or electreicity go through it easily.Another way is conductors transfer eelectrons easily but meanwhile the insulator psses on electrons with difficulty. One last thing is that conductors are not current but insulators are current. material or an object that conducts heat, electricity, light, or sound. Electrical conductors contain electric charges (usually electrons) that are relatively free to move through the material; a voltage applied across the conductor therefore creates an electric current. Insulators (electrical nonconductors) contain no charges that move when subject to a voltage. Compareinsulator. See alsoresistance, superconductivity.
It would be nonmetals.
The material can lose its electrons rather easily and pass them to the next atom.
Good conductors contain many free electrons.
Electrolytes are conductors of electricity because they are ions and ions are conductors of electricity, both positively and negatively charged. When we speak of ions as conductors of electricity we are not speaking only of electricity we use for lighting our homes or for electrical appliances we find in the home. Electrolytes are elements in the body such as sodium and potassium, which are minerals and chemicals like chlorides, bicarbonates sodium, potassium and magnesium. Potassium and sodium are also elements found in blood and body fluids. Compounds, which separate into ions, when they are dissolved in water are conductors of electricity. They break into positive and negative ions when dissolved in water making them conductors of electricity. Positive ions are called cation and negative ions are called anion. Electrolytes create a conductive medium when they dissociate free ions as they dissolve in water, these are called ionic solutes. Electrolytes contain electric currents and as electrically charged ions, act as conductors of electricity. Electrolytes can be found in acids, salts and some gases in high temperature or in low pressure. Electrolytes can be considered concentrated, when the concentration of ions is high or they can be dilute when a low concentration of ions is present. Electrolytes will dissolve in water an create a solution, which conducts electrical current, therefore electrolytes are considered to be conductors of electricity.
electric conductor They are called conductors of electricity. Electricity is the flow of charge. Solid conductors contain free electrons that carry the charge. Liquid conductors contain ions that carry the charge.
Salt in water solution or melted salt are electrical conductors because they contain ions Na+ and Cl-.
