Thermal energy
Either an atom or a molecule, depending on the substance.
The substance a wave travels through is called a medium. This medium can be solid, liquid, or gas, and it allows the wave to propagate by transferring the energy from one particle to the next.
I call it a 'photon'.By the way, the photon has zero rest mass, but when it travels at the speed of light ...which it always does ... it has some mass.
That particle is an electron.
When a nucleus of U-235 or PU-239 fissions, a small amount of mass is lost and appears as energy, by virtue of E = mc2. This I would call annihilation, not the actual fissioning itself which gives rise to two other nuclei.
That's what we call a "photon".
particle
A single dust particle is called a "speck" or "particle."
Albedo
The past participle of call is called.
The electron moves in a cloud around the nucleus of the particle. Most atoms have several electrons occupying different energy levels and moving in differently shaped orbitals. The electron has a negative charge.
