Why does a 1997 Ford Explorer squeak when turning?

We have a 2000 Ford Explorer and have dealt with squeaking also. I have read many questions and seen all the answers, but I solved our problem real easy. It may not be the cause of yours, but check this out. Our squeaking was coming from the "plastic", I'll call it plastic, step cover, or rear bumper cover. There is a molded piece that sits on top of the bumper and gets tucked under the rear quarter panels, kind of like a grip step. I applied WD-40 to the areas where the piece tucks under, as well as all along where it sits atop the bumper. Our squeaking is gone.

How many miles should you replace a cam belt on a vauxhall vectra 2000cc registered 2000 and how much should it realistically cost?

Vauxhall used to have 80,000 mile changes, but have revised that down to 40,000 for increased reliability.I believe this will apply to yours, although a quick call to your local vauxhall dealer would confirm. You should get it done for around

What is the difference between a small car and sedan?

A sedan (or saloon here in UK) has an engine compartment, a passenger compartment and a separate boot (or trunk as I imagine you would want to call it). A 'small' car is dependent much more on the market for which it is destined. What you might call 'small' in US, might well be considered medium size here. What we would call 'small' would typically be under 13' 3" long (4mtr in continental-speak), and would normally have an engine size of 1.3ltrs. Such vehicles would be: Ford Ka Smart Vauxhall Corsa Renault Twingo Citroen C1 Nissan Micra. Invariably, small cars in UK have a hatchback tailgate arrangement, rather than a separate boot, as this is what market forces demand.
