In Mafia Wars click on the Account (Compte) drop down then select language (Langue). Choose your language and then confirm.
My language changed suddenly from English to French then I obviously struggled to understand the French wording to change it back.

Click on the first item 'home', scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see at the very bottom of the screen different languages. Choose which you want; English.
