Place a pad between the broken toe, and the next one to separate them, but not too much. Then use medical tape to tape the two toes together to stabilize the break. Do not change the dressing, unless it really needs it. Do not get it wet. Keep it on for 3 to 4 weeks. Then check to see how it is. Do not keep the dressing on for weeks and weeks, but if you feel that it needs a bit longer, redress for another week. If you have a broken 'big' toe go to the hospital, but for the others the treatment is as above.
For big toes, the doctor will often tell you to wear an orthopedic flat shoe, and though it looks dorky, it will help your big toe heal properly. You won't realize how much you use it until you can't.
actually for broken toes, you need an xray, then put cotton in between the toe that is broken and the one next to it. Tape the 2 toes together.
Firstly what toe, if it is your big toe you should go to the hospital of your GP to get it checked out if it is any other toe don't worry about it put somre ice on it to bring down the swelling and maybe a bandage
Don't go to the doctor. If your toe is bent permenetly the wrong way then go to the doctor. But, all you need to do is tape the broken toe to the one to your left. If you go to the doctor there is nothing much they can do for it.
Splint it, tape it to an adjacent unbroken toe, stay off it, go see a doctor.
wrap it up tightly in gause or ace bandage then wait. you can stop bleeding (if any) by putting ALOT of pressure on the area
I know this from personal experience. Absolutely nothing. At most, they will strap it with a plaster and a stick in between to straighten toe while it heals itself.
Get some first aid tape and tape the broken toe to the toe next to it. Take some OTC pain relievers if you need them. That's all you can do for a broken toe.
go to the hospital
You dont strap a broken toe. You leave it. This is because it is hard to strap to another toe
A phalanx is a toe bone. Thus a fractured proximal phalanx is a broken toe.
Yes.
I have broken my toe in two places.

An angulated fracture is one in which the bones, once broken, no longer line up in the straight line they used to assume, and have broken into an angle. The fifth toe is the little toe.
Walking barefoot around a house your unfamiliar with will increase your chances of stubbing your toe which could lead to a broken toe.
you put a bag of ice on your toe so you can keep the swelling down and you also keep pressure on your toe and if you can't move them then your toe is broken
The best way to cure broken toe pain is to simply stay off of the foot that is bothering you. You might want to get a splint for your toe which can be made out of two wooden sticks and gauze around the area. There is no definite cast however for broken toes, so the best method is to just stay off of the toe.
yes you do if it is
You can't move it and if you do it hurts!!
