A broken fan heater can not work and A FORD Foucs does not run
No
Well it depends on what xbox you have. The slim models (with working fan) have no overheating problems what so ever, in fact i know someone that leaves their slim on 24/7 because they have no hard drive to save games and other than some game freezes he hasn't had problems ( i would not recommend this though). The two older xbox models though have terrible problems with overheating and can't be played for more than about 6 hours until they have problems. With a broken fan things can get a little tricky because with the arcade and elite xboxes no fan means no airflow whatsoever do to the fact that the vents are much smaller on these, and cooling so i wouldn't play any games on these older xboxes if the fan was broken because you might damage them in a few hours but with a slim model that has great venelation ( suspended with maybe a exterior fan) you might be ok for at least a few hours. Bottom line is that if you have a broken fan contact microsoft if you have warranty and get it fixed because only the xbox it self knows the amount of airflow the fans need to supply. so it can be tricky to do it externally
