Ask Fi, she was programed in her text to always help you. If I EVER had a problem I asked Fi then I got one of those "Oh right..." moments or "OHHH Now I get it." just use the down button and ask her objective and you will know.

Indeed there are. There are a ton of amber relics and plenty of relics in the trials, you can get endless hornet larvae from hives in Faron woods, endless tumbleweeds in Lanayru Desert, enough eldin ore from digging and chests on Eldin Volcano, bird feathers from catching birds in Faron Woods, goddes plumes from especially difficult side quests and goddess cubes and their corresponding chests, and just about everything from monsters. Ask the fortune teller in the Skyloft Bazaar about treasure and (s)he'll help you also. Not sure on the gender there...
