Not Bigfoot's footprint, but possibly that of the Yeti (a similarly described creature). It is above the monastery on a trail to the upper left. You need a photo of the footprint in the snow.
After you only get a footprint photo from the Himalayas, Mews decides that it is too difficult to track the Yeti. When you prove the other 3 cryptids, he sends you in search of Bigfoot, and you have to rescue the creature from the evil Gretchen Grimlock.
If Bigfoot were made of coal, he would have a massive carbon footprint.
Large footprint, hence the name.TallHairyElusiveLives in the WoodsCryptozoological
You can't, because it never appears. You do find Bigfoot at the end of the quest. All you can do at the Himalayas is get the lantern from the monastery and a photo of a footprint high up on the mountain. This is not enough proof. When you prove the other three cryptids, Mews will send you after Bigfoot instead.
It's supposed to be a Bigfoot footprint
Take it back to Mews. Once you have gotten the photo of the Yeti footprint, and proved the other three cryptids (Nessie, chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you to track down Bigfoot.
You never do. You will, however, find substantial proof of the similar creature, Bigfoot. At the monastery in the Himalayas, the monks are unwilling to part with their Yeti scalp. However, you do get a camping lantern, and one of the monks lets you climb up for a photo of a mysterious footprint in the snow. (You will need the camera from Loch Ness.) When you have proven the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you to the Pacific Northwest in pursuit of Bigfoot.
Although you have gotten the photo of the footprint from the Himalayas, the Yeti is not going to be proven. When you have proved the other three (Nessie, chupacabra, and Jersey Devil), Mews will send you to the Pacific Nortwest to chase Bigfoot. Follow Bigfoot in the helicopter as he runs through the trees. When he arrives at the caves, Gretchen Grimlock cages him. Save him by jumping to her helicopter, opening the fuel tank, and cutting loose Bigfoot's cage. You and he float down safely.
Yes. There is a lot of examining of this footage. On monsterquest there was evidence pointing to: bigfoot's real.
You don't actually confirm the Yeti. You just need to get the photo of the footprint, which is not enough proof. When you have proven the existence of the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you in pursuit of the similar creature, the Bigfoot, in the Pacific Northwest. Bigfoot is obviously confirmed at the end of the trip there.
It means that there is scientific evidence that the cryptid exists, which is what you are trying to do for the 4 unproven cryptids. When all are confirmed except the Yeti (and you have the footprint photo), Mews will send you in pursuit of Bigfoot, who is soon confirmed.
