Cometologist is primarily concerned with the voluntary muscles of the head, face, neck, arms and hands. As a stylist you will perform scalp and neck massages or facials. General massage techniques to the neck and scalp can be done during shampooing a client because muscles affected by massage are generally manipulated from the insertion attachment to the origin attachment. This is just an example of how the muscular system plays a important part in cosmetology.
