With rats, when they sneeze, it's normally-harmless plasma in their lungs. Guinea Pigs might be the same. Recent changing of the litter in the cage or a new litter can cause your little pet to sneeze. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, or if it's a persistent sneeze, then go see a vet.

My guinea pig died of pneumonia today:'(

and one of my others did in march.

Pneumonia affects their system and makes them very weak and unable to breathe, which eventually kills them. Mine got put to sleep so that she wouldn't have to die in pain.

So yeah, it makes it hard for them to breathe and eat which will eventually kill them.

Oh and if one of yours has died from it or has it if you have any more guinea pigs make sure they are taken to the vet and ask for pneumonia antibiotics as my other 2 are npow having to be treated incase the disease is inside of them. Even if they look healthy make sure you take them.

Infections are cured by antibiotics. So unless you happen to have some antibiotics on hand, you can't cure any infection without seeing a doctor. And even if you had some antibiotics on hand, they might not be the one you need for this particular infection.

Respiratory problems are a real hazard in guinea pigs and you HAVE to take it to the vet. There is no way you could treat it at home without a vets knowledge. IT would just be like you having breathing problems and then not going to the doctors to see what's wrong. You'll have to take it to the vets even if you can not afford it. If you aren't willing to take it then you shouldn't have a guinea pig.

My guinea pig won't eat or drink and she has gunk in her eyes This winter is also very cold and shes been staying outside Is it because of her being outside shes sick?

You should not keep your guinea pig outside in the winter! They're natural climate is not cold and they cannot handle the cold. Your pig probably has a respiratory infection and she needs to see a vet right away. Please, please keep your guinea pig inside, even if it is just in your warm basement. They cannot handle winter weather. put the f%$# guinea pig inside!

What disease can a guinea pig get if its left in a drafty place?

There is no actual disease caused by putting your guinea pig near a draft or drafty place. Doing this does not cause a specific illness- it just stresses the pig out, causes them to have chills, and overally makes them more susceptible to diseases and ailments. Probably the most common ailment guinea pigs get after being subjected to these conditions is a respiratory infection.
