get it out of the house
Yes. I've wrote that in a diffrent question so yes they will bite after they have their babies. It has happend to me and my mama is still mean to me if I try to hold her.
It does this because it's teething.
A hamster usually won't eat her babies unless if it is ill and/or dying. The mother may also eat her baby if anyone has touched it. If you touch a baby the mother will smell an un-natural scent and the first thing she'll think is 'danger'. A hamster.. in this case.. will either abandon the baby or eat it to keep her other babies safe. If you have a pregnant hamster; DO NOT pick up the babies when they are born (even though its hard to resist). It'd probably be best if you left the mother and her babies alone for a while. When you clean the cage, work around the mom. You don't want to disturb or distress her in any way.
a hamster will only bite if you provoke it
No, unless the hamster has rabies. if the hamster is a household pet, then no. Hamsters rarely bite, anyway.
Place it in. If it bite were gloves
A hamster can have up to 16 babies at once but the average hamster has about 3-10 babies
you will need to keep your hamster in her cage for 4 weeks before you start pick her up again but be careful as she could bite you because she is look out for her babies don't worry if she goes away for her babies.
If your hamster bit her baby's head off it means she's stressed or the baby was weak and wouldn't make it.
If you are asking can a hamster have triplets, then the answer is yes. The average litter for a hamster is anywhere around 2 to 5 babies, but some hamsters have had more than twenty babies. However, how many babies your hamster has can vary from hamster to hamster.
No. You cant make a hamster have babies because it must have a male hamster with a girl hamster and the male hamster might not get the girl pregnant so just roll with it.
They might cause a fight, if same gender, If not the same gender, the they will (most likely) have babies, and when a female hamster has babies, you have to help the babies come out. And if you touch the hamster babies AT ALL, the mother will eat them. I don't recommend buying another hamster.
