In the event of knocking Groudon out after battling it in the Embedded Tower in Pokémon SoulSilver then you would have the option of being able to have it re-spawn back into the Embedded Tower however in order to do so you will need to return to the Indigo Plateau building and then you will need to defeat the four Elite 4 trainers; Will who is a Psychic-type specialist, Koga who is a Poison-type specialist, Bruno who is a Rock-type specialist and Karen who is a Dark-type specialist and then you will need to defeat the Champion; Lance who is a Dragon-type specialist and after beating Lance the re-spawning will activate and all fainted Legendary Pokémon will re-spawn.
