First off you can ignore it if you want. If you feel that what they're doing is wrong, most people would reply/tell the person off. Usually that is unsuccessful, because the person who is cyberbullying will try to 'flame you' or in other terms make you mad. The best thing to do is not take it seriously, because if you do the 'trolls or cyberbullies' will try to make you even more mad.
If there is cyberbullying on WikiAnswers, you should be messaging a supervisor (names in red at the bottom of the Community Forum page).
I had a friend who was a victim on the internet from one person who was cyberbullying him, his family and is company, giving out personal information of his on the internet, ect. He got an attorney and got a settlement for $500,000 in damages. So it's worth the trouble of getting an attorney to handle it. The court system takes cyberbullying very seriously.

Nobody can prevent cyber bullying it happens too everyone but here are some ways you can stop it.
- On social networking sites (ie: Facebook, twitter etc) only add/follow people you know and set your twitter page to private so your posts cannot be read by people you don't know if it contains information about your life.
- If sombody begins to bully you or sombody else( in which case do not but in) leave the room and ignore the person, if they are on your friend list delete them. And report them on the website.
- Keep thoughts on other people to yourself, do not spread rumors and if sombody tells you a rumor about sombody else on the web (could happen on habbo hotel frequantly) report them immediatly.
If you get cyber-bullyed badly. And are really upset about it. Tell a parent, if they you feel you can't then there are plenty of websites about it that can help you.
One that really helped me was cyber-mentors. They are a bunch of teens who you can message and they'll help you. This website is also for normal forms of bullying in real life.
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask me and I will be happy to try and answer.

There aren't necessarily any ways you can "prevent" cyber bullying, but you can stop it when it happens. If you feel as though you or someone you know is being cyber bullied, you should report it to your parents, school administrators, and to the officials of the site on which you are being bullied.
You can report the person on Facebook and the relevant authority if you get cyber bullied.
