The lifting capacity of geckos varies by species, but on average, a small gecko can lift about 1 to 2 times its body weight. Assuming an average gecko weighs around 0.5 ounces, 1000 geckos could potentially lift between 500 to 1000 ounces collectively. However, precise lifting capabilities would depend on factors such as the gecko species and their physical condition.
Well it really depends on how bad the injury's are. If you're worried about the health of your gecko, it is best to take it to the vets right away! From my experience, the only gecko I have had was attacked by a cat, had died.
Depending on the gecko species will determine the price of the animal. More common species are usually sold at a lower value such as the: house gecko, turner gecko, golden gecko, tokay gecko, skunk gecko. Other species such as crested geckos, leopard geckos and gargoyle geckos can range from $60 - $500. There are even "sought out" or "desired" species of gecko than can range upwards of $1000-$4000 this could include: Leachianous geckos, Green geckos, Chaoua geckos.
Some lizards (Geckos definitely) have the ability to "drop" their tails if they are threatened or attacked.
