You need to take more time to gather confidence for yourself because until you can accept yourself for who you are and love yourself you are not able to love someone else. Boys like girls with confidence and you would be surprised what type of boys girls actually like. There is always going to be rejection throughout life and learning to deal with it is a big part of life. The worse he is going to say is no if he does not want to go out with you so don't be afraid to ask him on a date. I realize it may be easier said than done but how would you ever know if you never confront the situation. Be yourself - don't try to be somone your not because if someone does not like you for who you are then they are not worth being with.

∙ 13y ago(From a guy) There is one way that almost always works... Sit very close to him (as in legs/shoulders touching). If he likes you, then he won't move away from you, because when you like somebody, your personal space doesn't apply to them (unless the person happens to have space issues) The worst that can happen with this approach is an awkward silence. ∙ 13y agoWell, if you like the guy, try to get to know him better. Talk to him, get to know him. Maybe after a few months that guy is going to think as you as a friend, then a best friend, then a buddy in romance. That happens a lot with guys. Try it get to know him better to make him like you. Let him feel more comfy around you. If you are too shy to talk to him, just try. Maybe it it fate if you are too shy around the guy that like, maybe one day you guys will get married. But, I wouldn't get your hopes up too soon. All I would do is to try to get him to like you, hang out with him more. Be confident to talk to him. Be nice to him. Just try with all your heart and see what happens. I think that it would work because it has helped me a lot back then and now. So, if you don't like my opinion it's ok but, just try it and see what happens.

∙ 9y agoHi! OK, so this happens to me all the time ... this one girl that I am best friend's with just scares them all away. But, I always go and TALK to them when my friend isn't around. If you like a guy, and if he likes you, it should not matter whether your friend scares him off. My advice, just talk to him.
