What do you do if you think your peanut butter might be contaminated?

Seal it and discard it immediately. If you think it is serious, it might also be good to contact the company or distributor to let them know if you think the contamination might have come from their factory.

∙ 9y agoThere is little that can make a peanut "bad", unless it had mold or was stale. If you bite into a peanut that tasted bad, spit it out into a paper napkin. If you swallowed it, nothing much bad will happen--the body deals successfully with small amounts of toxins etc. Rinse your mouth with fresh water first, then brush your teeth and tongue to remove any after-taste.
