First off, make sure you give your friend time to completely get over him. You don't want to ruin your friendship over some guy! If you really like him, after awhile, try flirting a little cautiously. If he seems to be flirting back, and if he seems to be interested in you, then flirt more openly. That should work pretty well, but every situation is different. To be REALLY safe, you could ask your friend if it is all right to go out with him. That may seem a lilttle weird, so that you only have to do if you are VERY cautious of not ending your friendship. Good luck!!

∙ 14y agoWhy is he your ex boyfriend? It is hard when your friend likes your ex. It didn't work out between you but I think your friend should back off and give you time to get over it. Explain this to her, that you are not comfortable with her being with him. She should understand.
I think she should just give you some time to get over it, but if it's been over a month, I think it's ok.
