Depends what the problem really is. It could be that the headlight assemblies have gotten yellow with age and all they need is a headlight restoration. There are headlight restoration kits available at your local auto parts store or you could have it professionally done.

Hello I was having the same problem! Finally I found out that the new "super bright" lights should NOT be used in a car that has daytime running lights. So once I put the cheap GE lights in they have lasted longer than any set that I had put in before! And they are just as bright as the "super bright" lights are anyway.
Not using bright lights, turning off music/radio so you can hear traffic at intersections, opening windows at intersections, getting fog lights on the car, and using only low beans on the car.
Illumination wire. Connect it to your dash lights' 12v+ so that when you turn your lights on at night, the lights on the head unit dim so they aren't blindingly bright.
