- It depends on how he hurt you and your family. If he was rude; crude and arrogant then listen to your parents. If they were upset because you were so upset then meet with your ex in a public place and be honest at what you see and hear from him and see if he has matured and if not, then listen to your parents and don't take take him back or you will only get hurt again. If you decide to take him back then tell him in order for you both to get back together again he will have to meet with your parents. If he has matured there should be no problem, but if he refuses then get up and leave him sitting there alone. Save yourself the pain.
