you can but it wont stay long. You could wet it and hairspray it. That may work

Well I use hairspray after I curl my hair but my friend NEVER uses hairspray and her curls always stay in until the end of school. I know that for some reason my sister uses soy renewal and styling cream and yet they look better than mines. I WOULD recommend you to use hairspray but if your hair's thin you should use it. you need a really good straightener, theyre expensive, but its worth it... i paid $300, but it works like a charm, it takes a long time to straighten, but you cant be a bludger... also the hair dressers are good at straightening hair.
