All Amazon Kindle's can be charged via the USB cable that is located in the device's box. Some Kindle's have a wall-charger, while some don't (but in this instance can be purchased at your local office superstore). The USB cord is a micro-USB which has the same end as any other USB device uses, but only certain smartphones and tablets use the other end. Plug it into the computer or wall, and plug the other end of the USB into the device. Let it charge for a few hours, and you'll be good to read again.
