Explore the ship, of course. There will be little side rooms along the halls. It's a good idea to explore those. They'll have little goodies inside them... especially one that will help you add to your strategies in fossil battles.
You'll also find a special character behind a strange-looking door at the end of the path. You have to find something for him... and you have to find 3 other things for someone else to get that something.
The fossils on the ship are mostly water-types. There's a certain air-affiliated vivosaur you'll also find that has some really awesome support effects. If you're lucky, you'll find the arms fossil of an earth-affiliated vivosaur that's found in a different dig site.
I think that's about all there is. unless you consider it important that you'll get 100 G when you break rocks and barrels in Bottomsup Bay.
