If you are asking if you can become a Wizard as portrayed in fiction (Harry Potter etc.), on TV (Dresden etc) or in the movies then I'm afraid the above answer is correct. The kinds of Wizards, both good and bad found in fiction are constructs of wonderful and fertile imaginations of some truly talented writers, and the technical "magic" of some of the most amazing special effects.
If you are asking if there really are Wizards and if you can become one, then first you need a definition of what a Wizard is.
- People (Male or Female) who calls or considers themselves to be Wizards are generally, (but not always) modern day practitioners of the science of Magic who do so outside of a spiritual path.
As to if it is possible to become one:
- There are a few of these people around and they became what they are as the result of years of intense study and continuous practice. Finding an ethical Wizard, willing to teach someone could be an exhausting search.
- Please remember, when you find a Wizard willing to teach you, there are years of study in your future and the Wizard you become will not be the Wizard you have encountered in fiction.
